I am 26 years old, originally from Dartmouth, now settled in Fairhaven. I decided very early on that living a healthy, happy, life is the most important thing to me after seeing how short life can be. I lost my mom at a very young age to cancer, have gone through my own health scares, and have decided that life is short and I need to make the most of it. 

After attending Emmanuel College and then graduating from Bridgewater with a bachelor of science in biology degree I wasn't sure of the path to take. I contemplated research, I landed in teaching, and then brought myself to personal training. Best. Decision. Ever. 

I have been a classic "gym hopper" since the time I could drive, always looking for programs and challenges to keep me entertained, working, and most of all active and excited . I've climbed, I've swam, I've biked, I've run obstacles, I've boxed, I've done the circuit training thing but before long I'd find myself dragging to the next workout and looking for the next new thing. Finally, I realized to get the "new" thing, I had to be the new thing. All the years I spent gym hopping had paid off when I decided to become a certified personal trainer. I was now able to bring all of the most interesting aspects of training into my own gym and offer the variety and challenge to people who felt the same as me. 

So what should you expect when you walk in through well+fit doors?
Expect to challenge yourself . Our workouts are designed around you- your age, your level of of fitness, your interests, and your goals. Each workout is tailored to you, for you. From circuit training, to traversing the wall, to boxing, and everything in between, ​you will not see the same workout twice. The key 


to seeing results is muscle confusion. When your body and mind walk through the door of a gym you should not know what is expected of you that day. Plain and simple. Being the owner operated small business that we are allows us to get to know each client and the way they work best. It allows us to push their limits with new workouts every single time they walk in. There is no boredom in variety! 

well + fit is private
When you come in for your scheduled appointment, the door is closed, there are no interuptions, no people walking by looking through the windows, no phone calls, just you and your workout. The music is turned up and its officially your time. 
Whether you join into a small group session or a private training session, the time is yours and you have my undivided attention. Scheduled small group or private training sessions make you take accountability for your workouts. Having a membership card to your local gym is just an extra tag on your key ring, not always useful and not always motivating. Having a set number of sessions and a recurring schedule with a certified personal trainer, that is accountability and that will get you results.
